A hard worker with disposable amounts of tenacious energy, Nitori Aiichirou is a graduate of Samezuka Academy, student at Shimogami University, and training exchange athlete in Budapest pursuing both high academic stature and a love for competitive swimming. When not hitting the books or jumping from the starting block, Ai busies himself with a love of photography, niche films, observational writing, and way, way too much to say at all times.
Ai is outwardly friendly and gives off a very honest, shameless air, despite his polite and nearly stiff way of chatter; he wears his heart on his sleeve and, at first glance, leaves little to the imagination by way of his words and expressions. He is extremely realistic and borderline cynical in his opinion of himself, though it does not deter from his otherwise open and amicable disposition.
At his core, Ai is stubborn, interwoven with an unrivaled selflessness and sense of compassion. A direct result of both an incredible work ethic and a somewhat low opinion of himself, Ai applies himself recklessly toward anything he finds worth his pursuit. Though often frustrated by his shortcomings despite his hard work, both in studies and athletics alike, Ai is never one to quit, and is always determined to see something through to the end.
